Lavar Ball father of future 1st Round Draft pick Lonzo Ball just might be calling off the search of Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and more possibly joining forces with his family owned ‘Big Baller Brand’.
Ball revealed earlier today that his son Lonzo Ball will be the first ever player coming into the draft to own his own signature sneaker before draft night.
Going into negotiations with the above listed elite brands, Ball revealed that he was no longer interested in a generic endorsement opportunity, but more so co-branding opportunities.
According to SLAM Online:BBB is aiming for Lonzo’s signature sneaker to tap into a new market—above the athletic performance kicks from the likes of Nike, Jordan, adidas and Under Armour, but below the high-end designer shoes of Gucci, Prada or Louis Vuitton. The ZO2 Prime comes with a $495 price tag.
There is also a limited ZO2 WET Autographs edition, which will come in a key-locked glass box with a floor mirror, LED lights and an autograph from the Chino Hills prodigy himself. It will cost $995
For an additional fee you can also cop a pair of the ZO2 signature slides, which also feature python microfiber texture and Lonzo’s personal logo.
