IBM’s Steve Canepa, Global Media And Entertainment GM, recently added another piece of hardware to his collection during CES 2017.
Canepa received his 3rd Emmy Award during the 68th Emmy Awards for his roll in Technical Engineering Achievement on behalf of IBM Media and Entertainment.
Steve Canepa is responsible for Entertainment, On-line, Games, Advertising, Broadcast, Cable, Publishing, Satellite, Sports & Music, Search, Social marketplace at IBM.
Under the leadership of Canepa, the division has grown into one of the largest providers of solutions, services and technology to the M&E Industry and one of IBM’s top performing Industries.
With a major buzz surrounding IBM’s role in Oscar buzzing film ‘Hidden Figures’ Steve Canepa had no problem opening up on IBM’s roll in uncovering the real Hidden Figures and it’s Box Office success following the acceptance of his Emmy.
During opening weekend ‘Hidden Figures’ scored big at the box office beating our ‘Rogue One’ with $22.8 Million dollars.
HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P.
