Over the weeknd Shiloh High School brought home back-to-back Region titles with a big come from behind win over county rival Berkmar. The two teams squared off at Central Gwinnett High School, in front of a packed out crowd and screaming fans.Â
With a low scoring first half Shiloh went into the locker room trailing Bermark 21-16. Shiloh head Coach Kim Rivers was forced to sit his star player Josh Okogie early as he picked up 2 quick fouls in the first quarter. But…that didn’t stop other Generals from stepping up. Playing an extended 2-3 zone Rivers emphasizing the importance of not letting the Patriots take long distance shots.
The Generals dominated the boards in the second half as they pulled away 39-32 for their 2nd consecutive back-to-back Region Title.Â
