Over the past year we’ve had an opportunity to spend quite some time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, covering and reporting on some of the biggest moments to take place in our country during Barack H. Obama and Michelle Obama’s final year as our 44th President and First Lady of the United States.

During our time spent at the White House and beyond, there were so many memories made and smiles captured to last a lifetime.

As we reflect back on some of the most iconic moments we’ve captured of President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, we do so with tears in our eye as we have come to and end of an era.

As Barack, Michelle, Sasha, Malia, Grandma, Bo and Sunny Obama depart the White House one final time as sitting President and FLOTUS and first family, their journey ahead looks to be filled with service to the public through their foundation ‘The Obama Foundation’ where they will team up with projects throughout the South Side of Chicago and around the country.

The Obama Foundations mission is to focus on citizenship and contributions to society that bridge the gap of social change.

President Obama took to his Twitter to make the announcement right before he made his way to Capital Hill.

Before Donald Trump takes office as the 45th President Of The United States, we wanted to take the time to honor President Obama and FLOTUS, for their 8 years of sacrifice to serve this great nation we call the United States Of America.

As the Obama’s depart the White House they leave with pretty good approval ratings overall. In a recent USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken on Monday and Tuesday, 79% of Americans revealed they approve of the way Michelle Obama carried herself and handled the job as FLOTUS.

President Obama leaves with a 65% approval rating while 29% did not approve.

Thank You POTUS and FLOTUS for giving our Loud Genius team, a diverse group of individuals from around the country an opportunity to fulfill a dream many of us never imagined would take place.

You gave us Hope, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding to press forward. For that we are forever grateful and you truly made the White House ‘The Peoples House’, and for that we say

YES WE CAN.

YES WE DID.

We wish you much success on your future endeavors!

Below we have created a gallery highlighting some of our unforgettable moments during our visits to the White House.
